Patriot Award presented to Aranda Taylor of Benefis Orthopedic Center of Montana

GREAT FALLS, Mont. – Aranda Taylor of Benefis Orthopedic Center of Montana was awarded a Department of Defense Patriot Award by Montana Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (Montana ESGR) volunteer Kaitlyn Mitcham. The award was presented on behalf of her civilian employee Montana Air National Guard Tech. Sergeant Christine Guzman with the 120th Airlift Wing Medial Group.

Montana Mayors, Chief Executives, and City Managers welcomed to Choteau, Montana

CHOTEAU, Mont. – Choteau is set against the breathtaking backdrop of the shortgrass prairies and the wild Rockies. This small town has a population of a little over 1,740. WASHINGTON – In this our 50th year, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) proudly announces the 30 finalists for the 2022 Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award. The finalists include small and large private and public sector employers nominated by a National Guard or Reserve Component employee employed in their organization. ESGR received 2,777 nominations for this prestigious award for employers throughout the 50 states, Guam-CNMI, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands and District of Columbia.

Babbit Construction supervisors honored with Department of Defense Patriot Award; sign Statement of Support

TACOMA, Wash. – Ryan Babbit, owner of Babbit Construction, and Patrick Armitage, supervisor at Babbit Construction were presented with a Patriot Award recently by Ohad Lowy, south sound area co-chair for the Washington Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, in recognition of their support of their employees who serve in the Reserve Components. Babbit and Armitage were nominated by Army Reserve Pfc. James Rasmussen.

Montana ESGR and 219 RED HORSE host employer open house

Recently employers sat in the driver’s seat of several 219 RHS (Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron, Engineer) heavy equipment simulators to try their hand at operating a bulldozer as part of an Employer Open House
