ESGR in the News

ALEXANDRIA, Minn. – Megan Johnson, who nominated her supervisors, is the fiancé of Spc. Bailey Diedrich of the Minnesota Army National Guard. She is presenting the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Patriot Award to her supervisors Marc Godfrey, Jon Godfrey and Justin Godfrey at Godfrey Chiropractic and Wellness.

The award was given to the Godfreys Aug. 1 for their support to Megan and Bailey while he was deployed.

Megan stated that they were extremely accommodating before, during and after Bailey’s deployment.  They were always asking how Bailey was doing and they were on standby with anything I needed.  She said that she was so grateful and appreciative for everything they did for Bailey and her over the past year and a half.  Also present was Doug Broich the Minnesota ESGR Region 3 Chair.

ESGR is a Department of Defense office which seeks to foster a culture in which all employers support and value the employment and military service of members of the National Guard and Reserve in the United States.
