ESGR in the News

ANOKA, Minn. – Armu National Guard Sgt. Maria Cuevas is presenting the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Patriot Award to her employment supervisor, Joe Lindelof of nVent.

The award was given recently at nVent in Anoka. Joe Lindelof of nVent greatly supports and appreciates his employee's service to the Minnesota National Guard. When Cuevas returned from serving on active duty from 2019 – 2021, Lindelof provided accommodations allowing her to work from a new location in order to provide work-life balance with nVent and the National Guard service.

While serving, Cuevas received an additional raise on top of the standard raises. Cuevas is very appreciative of nVent support and assistance with her service to Guard deployments and weekend drills. Cuevas wanted to honor Lindelof of nVent. Also present was Dave Bambenek, an ESGR Minnesota Committee member.

ESGR is a Department of Defense program which seeks to foster a culture in which all employers support and value the employment and military service of members of the National Guard and Reserve in the United States.
