ESGR in the News

WORTHINGTON, Minn. –  Minnesota Army National Guard 1st Sgt. Dana Veen is presenting the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Patriot Award to Postmaster Jauwanda Stone at the Post Office on April 5 in Worthington.

The award was given to Stone in support of her employee's service to the Minnesota National Guard. Veen was very appreciative of her support and assistance with his Guard duties and time away for drills or deployments and wanted to honor her.

Veen stated his fellow employees fully support what he is doing in the Guard as well. Also present was Doug Broich the ESGR Region 3 Chair for ESGR/Minnesota Committee.

ESGR is a Department of Defense program which seeks to foster a culture in which all employers support and value the employment and military service of members of the National Guard and Reserve in the United States.
