ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Drury Hotel in St. Paul received the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Seven Seals Award during a ceremony at the hotel Jan. 25.
Minnesota Army National Guard 1st Sgt. Dana Veen of the, Alpha Battery 125th Field Artillery, Task Force COVID Relief, recommended Drury Hotel for the award.
Venn stated that the leadership team of Drury Hotel has gone well beyond normal customer service as they supported members of the Minnesota National Guard who were activated for Task Force COVID Response. The entire Drury staff welcomed these members into their home as the Guard was asked to provide support to the out state nursing homes suffering staff shortages as a direct result of the COVID epidemic.
The award was presented by Minnesota ESGR State Chair Tom Simonet to Trent Smith, Drury Hotels line manager.
