BUFFALO, Minn. – Susan Krug, spouse of Chief Master Sgt. Christian Krug, U. S. Air Force Reserve, presented the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Patriot Award to her employment supervisor, Dr. Tom Hanson DDS. The award was given on Jan. 11 at the Hanson Dental Clinic in recognition of Dr. Hanson’s support of his employee Susan Krug and her spouse’s service to the U. S. Air Force Reserve.
Susan Krug stated that Dr. Hanson has been always very supportive of her during her spouse's military activations and Air Force deployments. She wanted to honor him with a ESGR Patriotic Employer Award. Mrs. Krug stated that recently she had to fly to Texas on short notice to be with Chief Master Sgt. Krug when he had to have emergency surgery during his annual tour. It was stressful for her, but Dr. Hanson and his staff helped cover her work while she was gone. She appreciated the flexibility and continued support of Dr. Hanson to the military community throughout the years.
Also present were the below listed Hanson Dental Clinic staff members and Bob Adams, an ESGR Ombudsman and Minnesota Committee member.
