ANOKA, Minn. – In presenting an Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Patriot Award Staff Sgt. Devin Kral from the Minnesota Army National Guard is very passionate about serving his Country. The Patriot Award was presented Dec. 17 at the Federal Premium Ammunition, also known as Federal Cartridge company in Anoka.
Kral came off of deployment in 2020, served State Active Duty in 2021 and attends military courses to become a better solder. Through all this, his supervisor Adam Schorer at Federal Cartridge in Anoka has provided Kral with tremendous support.
Kral states, “While on deployment, Federal Cartridge sent me Camelback water and coffee canisters as well as shirts to provide for all the troops I was serving with. My supervisor Mr. Schorer, supported me with PTO [Personal Time Off] issues and allowed me to take PTO to prepare for deployment even when I didn’t have any PTO on the books. He also supported me when I needed to take FMLA [Family and Medical Leave Act] for family issues needing to be resolved. Mr. Schorer supported my family while I was deployed and this was a huge morale booster for me.”
