ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Johnathan Stanton, CEO and President of Lema Construction in St. Petersburg received the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Patriot Award for his support of the Guard and Reserve members that work for the organization.
Stanton was nominated for the award by Florida Army National Guard Maj. Erich McCartney. The award was presented by Florida ESGR Vice Chair Roger Trout.
“Since my hiring as Business Development Manager Mr. Stanton has been very supportive of my Florida Army National Guard responsibilities,” said McCartney. “I am currently on COVID duty with the great support of the Lema family.”
Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) is a Department of Defense program established in 1972. The Florida committee is chaired by retired Army Maj. Gen. Rita Broadway. The mission of ESGR is to gain and maintain employer support for Guard and Reserve service by recognizing outstanding support, increasing awareness of the law, and resolving conflict through mediation.
