LINCOLN, Neb. – Maj. Gen. Daryl Bohac, Nebraska National Guard adjutant general, was presented the Department of Defense Seven Seals Award at a recent ceremony by Nebraska Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) State Chair Mike Navrkal.
Bohac, a staunch supporter of ESGR, was presented the award in recognition of his outstanding support to the state committee, as well as military members, spouses, and employers of Nebraska.
“The Seven Seals award was created by ESGR to publicly recognize individuals who provide outstanding support and cooperation to the military members in the area, who like the citizen warriors before them have answered their nation’s call to serve, Maj. Gen. Bohac is always willing to brief and talk with employers about what the Nebraska National Guard is doing,” Navrkal said while presenting the award.
“Additionally, he is committed to supporting all ESGR activities like boss lifts, Briefings with the Boss, and the committee’s Annual Planning and Awards Meeting. I couldn’t imagine a better partner to have. Supportive individuals are critical to maintaining the strength and readiness of the nation’s Guard and Reserve units, and it’s a pleasure for me to recognize him and the Nebraska National Guard with this award,” Navrkal said.
ESGR, a Department of Defense program, seeks to foster a culture in which all employers support and value the employment and military service of members of the National Guard and Reserve in the United States.
